Hey,I really enjoyed looking through your site...Well Done :!:

Now I'm not saying ANYTHING against NM but WHY in the heck would anyone move away from those Col. mountains? Breathtaking mountain pics you have in your site. I was raised in Calgary I could see the Rockys from my bedroom, love them, I've married a cowboy and live in the country but those mountains are only 4.5 hrs away and we see them as often as we can.

NM is usually perceived by those that drive down the interstates --the east/west one (I-40)shows them the flats of the east side of the state and the red rocks and endless sand and sage of the Gallup area.

The north south interstate gives them a shot of brush covered mesas at Raton then more open rolling hills until Las Vegas (NM) and Santa Fe---then from there it follows the Rio Grande through some more mesa, sage and not particularly lovely parts of NM.

BUT I have to say -- those Colorado mountains are a bit different --but then winter also comes earlier and stays longer --when I'm asked why I didn't stay there... I show them a shot or two like this:(which to you northerners is normal life)
