Wow!! I missed out on gettin Mr Lilly trained in that department. Probably because for the first 15 years or so of our marriage he worked shift work, and oil field. (gone days at a time sometimes and nights with shift work) LOL if it was somethin that would bite, I had to kill it myself, includin snakes. If it was a mouse, I had to set the trap myself.....that's the easy part.......gettin the lil dead one out was the part that I hated the worst.
Wonder if I can start that trainin process now that he's home a whole lot more? LOL :D

Yeah right, I can see it now....I scream, and an hour later he'd say, "Oh I thought I heard somethin whila go"

did you read this part? I hope you dont have any in your pastures.

Partridge pea can be mildly poisonous to livestock when consumed in large quantities, but deer seem unaffected.
Hmmm, that kind of sounds like what some on here have been saying about Chokecherries.

I have no idea, like I said, and I've never paid any attention to what it does after it blooms. I don't know if it makes some kinda seed pod, or what. This was close to the gate that I had to get out and open, so it caught my attention. They grow more in the barditches. I've never seen one out in the pasture. ???
Don't know what a kosher weed looks like either LOL
I looked up american licorice and came up with several different varieties, but can't tell if this is one or not from the pictures on the website I found.

did you read this part? ^

And yes I read that part, "mildly poisonous"
