A Handful of Calves

Well the cows are finally out on grass, and yesterday was the last day they got fed!! :banana: Here are some photos of a few calves I took the other day.

7/8 Shorthorn Heifer

Part of the herd, all three are out of 1st calvers.

The very first calf born, he has a twin sister out there somewhere. His mama calved Feb 26, 2011 and 2012 with twins both times. Raised both last year, but only has the one this year. The other got fostered out.

#66, she is 13 years old this year. Still looking pretty good! We have about 5 cows that age, hope they all hold up this summer! The red calf is hers.

My favorite heifer calf (love the markings) Shes HH/RA. I really hope she grows up good!
