A Most Asinine Statement

Read this over & over to wrap your mind around it:

“The Justice Department decided last week not to bring charges against Tom DeLay, whose unethical conduct represented a modern low among Congressional leaders....Mr. DeLay, the Texas Republican who had been the House Majority Leader, crowed that he had been ‘found innocent.’ But many of Mr. DeLay’s actions remain legal only because lawmakers have chosen not to criminalize them.”— From a New York Times editorial, August 22.

Here I thought you were talking about Reid claiming he didn't see how Nevadians could hold him responsible for the 14% unemployment rate in their state when he was the Senate majority leader that passed most of these employment destroying bills. THAT he had to pay off his own party members to get passed. Just who are they to blame, he was to be protecting their interests and he was selling them out to stuff Obama's agenda down their throats.

I'm sure I have broken lots of laws that haven't been written yet too!

Don't let Oldtimer hear you say that or he will have you up in front of his court finding you guilty for sure.
