A Movie ya gotta see if ya havent!

We rented and watched tonight (I don't do movie theaters and movie crowds  ) what I think is one of the best stories I've heard told in a long time. The Movie is "The Blind Side". It's a true story about a young man and a mother's love and football. Unbeliveably great! I couldn't stand Tim McGraw but he's in it and is wonderful. I give TWO big thumbs up from the desert. Maybe a lot of ya'll have already saw it. What did ya think of it? Anyway, if you'll trust the judgement of a goat-raising, bull-clipping, post-hole digging, smart alec who has the IQ of a turnip, go rent this movie! I plan to own a copy asap! I'll go so far as to put it up there with the documentary on Seabiscut, Lonesome Dove, Open Range, Tombstone and most any hunting flick. "We Are Marshall" is up there for me too. And "Miracle"!

Took my girls to a movie the other night. Well actually I dropped them off and went curling. Turns out they were the only ones in the theater. You wouldn't mind being the only family in the seats H. In fact I'll bet a person could get used to more staff serving than those being served.

That was a very good movie. Peach and I saw it a few month ago, and I will agree that it is one of the best movies that has been produced in a long time.

Rent it Haymaker. I bet you'd enjoy it. It is the true story of a young man who is basically homeless in Tennessee. An afluent family takes him in and it changes both of their lives. Sure makes ya appreciate what you have and makes what you don't have material wise not matter so much. It is finally a movie out of Hollywood that isnt full of BS and sex and swearing or tearing down somebody.

We don't care for football much either, but we really enjoyed "We are
Marshall". I liked the 'team concept' very much. We haven't seen
"The Blind Side" yet, but it's on the top of my "TO DO" list; doesn't
matter if it's about football, it's about LIFE.

Thanks for the review, 'H. And your favorite movies are my favorites, too.
So, if you haven't seen "Second Hand Lions" you would probably
enjoy that one. It's a classic, in my mind.I bought it for my grandson
because I thought it was great.

My father-in-law met her at the airport in Austin. He was unloading some suitcases and this woman walked up to help him. He did know who she was, but he said she was very nice and help him take them to a car. He got back inside and the other guys that works with him mouths was wide open. He said what's wrong, they told him that was Sandra Bullock. He didn't know who she was.
