It is about time that these were recognised as the pests they are, and not as legitimate game animals!

my neighbor lady is in her 90's. has a couple hundred pigs living wild on her half section. well when the irrigation season starts, guess whose land they decide to make a mud wallow in?

officially the sheriff says if I shoot them on my land and she sees me, I could be in bigger trouble than her! Kansas is still open range laws, you fence to keep others OFF, not to keep yours IN.
off the record, he says that she can not go down to the creek on my place, and it sure seems the pigs hang out down there a lot.......
as soon as we finish the corn harvest, there is gonna be a BIG hog hunt.

Be careful jigs..........

We had a sheep problem... They told me I would be in real big trouble prolly sued if I shot them.......
Best thing to do and what I did was take my camara and take pictures... Then go to the county attorney.... Have him send a not so nice letter to her and have him spell out the consciquenses if they are not off your property pronto.........
Then you can legally take action..........

PS.......

Let me know when you are having the pork roast..............!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Can hardly wait till they see "our" wolves as the pests they are.........but not holding my breath on that.

My nephew took FIL, and some of the guys from work, to Texas and hunted pigs.......had a blast, and brought home some pretty good meat. It was pretty tough, but after about 24 hours in the crock pot on low, it was edible.......

Tuff? They must have killed a good sized boar hog or somethin. We don't eat those, leave em layin. They are nasty. But if it's a young one, or a sow, we've never had one be tuff. We take the backstrap and cut it up and fry it just like you would a porkchop.....ya can't tell the difference tween it and a regular domestic hog. The rest we make sausage with, and it's better than any store bought you ever tasted.

Jigs, I understand. We live about 2-1/2 hrs from Ft Worth and there is a fellow that lives up there and has a place here that refuses to fix fence. the county road is between his place and mine so they are not on me but always in the road and on the highly traveled Farm to Market road. Not only does he not fix fence he doesn't work his calves or sell them so his place is real over stocked......anyway I could go on for a while about this guy but what really chaps me is when someone calls the sheriff he then calls me and tells me my cows are out after I've told him time and again they are not mine, If you own cattle they are going to get out sometimes but his are out at all times of the day everyday. Me and one of the deputies had a little talk the other night and my wife thought I was about to go to jail but I don't allow anyone to talk to my wife that way! sorry about the long winded post but ARRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!
