A pelican brief

While coming home from the cattle sale in Valentine today, this pelican was hitchhiking along Highway 20 west of Cody. I didn't pick it up for fear it might have a weapon concealed in its bill, but did stop and take a picture in case it is wanted by the FBI (Flying Birds International).

Ha Ha Soapweed. You are still sharp as a tack!

This modern ranching is something. In the old days they packed a loaded weapon. Now The Soapweed Ranch packs a camera, to "load" pictures into a computer. I am sure with your wit you could add many other puns to this discussion.

I do have a question for you. You have stated on here that you are not the biggest fan of rotational grazing, or something like that. What I am wondering is, since we run about the same # of cows as you, and we don't move our stock any more often than you do, does the Soapweed crew get up each day and trail cattle around the same pastures just for the photo OP that it provides. I do seem to remember you trailing through a few gates, but I wonder if that was just a special effect????????

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

We all like to ride. As long as it looks like we're busy, isn't that all that really matters?
