It actually worked! This is the view from the top of the ridge down into the home valley, back in May.

Oh Wow...how do you ever get any work done at all? I'd be too busy lookin at the perdy scenery all the time to do anything but stand and say, "Oooooooowwwww Ahhhhhhhhhwww "

Jersey, people do ask me if I was fencing or just taking pictures. I tell them some of both! I kind of take the scenery for granted, until you see it through someone else's eyes and are reminded how gorgeous it really is.

Jigs, I don't think you'd want to 'idle' up or down on some of these ridges! They'd be a little tough on equipment and manpower.

Roper, it is above highway 22, south of Chain Lakes.

Yes you took that picture from star line <the gravel road that runs north and south through the foothills>.
I live not so far from there.
