Remember when libs posted things like this on here?

fff
No, actually it feels very good to be a Dem these days. It feels great to know that the Dems will start getting this country back on track next year.

We won...we don't care what you think right now!!!!

Obama has had a remarkable life. He's apparently intelligent and willing to learn and, good God, change his mind if he realizes he's made a mistake!

Oldtimer
Like Teddy also said- no man is above the law-- and whatever happens tomorrow can be laid right at the feet of the backlash to the Bush/Cheney regime that put themselves out to be above the law- and above the Constitutional rules of oversight... That backlash has built to now the people will use their power to change it....

Now you can't even get one of them to defend what has happen since these comments were posted just two short years ago :???:

To bad fff isn't still here  as I would love to hear her explain the intelligents of Obama when all the polls showed he was going to take a HISTORICAL beating in Nov., but was he smart enough to learn, realize and change direction NO He dug the hole deeper by accusing the voters of being to stupid to understand. So much for the intelligents and willingness to change of the man with the remarkable life.

But I have to admit Oldtimer was right, no man is above the law and the people do have the power to correct misstakes made. AND THEY DID ON NOV 2? Now let's hope they correct the biggest mistake of all in 2012!!!!

looking back at what they use to say is fun

Oldtimer
4 more years of GW Bush "misdirection" was out of the question- not only to me but a majority of this country....

and now the headlines read

Right Direction or Wrong Track
26% Say U.S. Heading in Right Direction
Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Sixty-seven percent (67%) of voters say the country is heading down the wrong track, unchanged from last week. Following passage of the health care bill, this number dipped slightly but has since returned to levels found prior to the passage of the bill.

Leading up to President Obama's inauguration in January 2009, the number of voters who felt the country was heading in the right direction remained below 20%. The week of his inauguration voter confidence rose to 27% and then steadily increased to 40% in early May 2009. Confidence began falling after that.

Confidence is now less than when he took office, and it only took Obama from (drum roll please  ) Jan 2009 to May 2009 to start dashing people hopes of a new direction. Which has lead us to a large majority (of which I sure Oldtimer is not a member of  ) thinking the US is on the WRONG TRACK and a Historical Democrat DEFEAT  at the hands of  THE ONE THAT WAS TO SAVE US ALL FROM OUR STUPID SELVES.

One has to wonder if Rasmussen polled World leaders ( you know the ones that think Obama is CLUELESS) what the polls would say about the direction the US is headed in. :?

Just another gem from the past

He ran. He campaigned for several years. He proved himself under taxing conditions. He did not enter the campaign in the last 2 months and show himself not read for prime time as Palin did. For all that Palin may be a remarkable woman, she could not have done what Obama did in terms of running a campaign in such a disciplined manner for 2 years. She simply did not have the experience or seasoning or whatever it was that made him capable of beating Hillary and being a phenomenal fund raiser and a good communicator.

She's great with crowds who love her but needs to have much more exposure and hard knocks if she's ever to get to his level of competence in the political arena.

Good thing he was a smooth talker and campaigner as he sure the H*ll is not a Leader when Foreign leaders are laughing at him and calling him clueless. And is so thin skinned he blast anyone that dares speak out against him even to the point of calling them the ENEMY.

BTW it was George Soros that bought and paid for Obama's election win You know the guy that has taken down four countries just for fun and just because he could with the help of dumb sh*theads like those that vote for his puppet.
