I am just wondering if anyone knows What Sen McCain is saying about Arizona's new immigration law?...i heard on the radio that according to the constitution only a immigration judge is allowed to deport people,is this true?.if so,can any state change the constitution?...I do believe the state has a right to fix this issue if it feels it is being bankrupt by the cost ...just not sure on how,i guess thats why i am curious on what sen McCain has put forth?....thanx

I don't think Az is deporting the offenders, just charging them with the crime, and turning them over to Immigration..

Purpose
Requires officials and agencies of the state and political subdivisions to fully comply with and assist in the enforcement of federal immigration laws and gives county attorneys subpoena power in certain investigations of employers. Establishes crimes involving trespassing by illegal aliens, stopping to hire or soliciting work under specified circumstances, and transporting, harboring or concealing unlawful aliens, and their respective penalties.

a state legislature submitted the law. at the state level..

McCain is at the Federal level.. and has little to do with State laws.. other then lending his political support..

McCain was running for re-election to the senate in the primaries, so he must appeal to his party to win.. so he has sided with the "people" this time..

to get the party endorsement and party backing/money he must first get the party nomination in the primaries.. ( a pre-election runoff. )
