A setup: Presidential debate moderators are all liberals.

Why? Because liberals picked them.

The moderators for this year’s presidential and vice presidential debates were announced this week, and perhaps you noticed a pattern. All four work for liberal-leaning news organizations.

First presidential debate:

Jim Lehrer, Executive Editor of the PBS NewsHour
Wednesday, October 3, University of Denver, Denver, CO

Vice presidential debate:

Martha Raddatz, Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent, ABC News
Thursday, October 11, Centre College, Danville, KY

Second presidential debate (town meeting):

Candy Crowley, Chief Political Correspondent, CNN and Anchor, CNN’s State of the Union
Tuesday, October 16, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY

Third presidential debate:

Bob Schieffer, Chief Washington Correspondent, CBS News and Moderator, Face the Nation
Monday, October 22, Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL

Actually, there’s no surprise here at all. It’s just about the same thing every four years. Last year, for example, we got PBS (twice!), CBS and NBC. So, from last year, one of two PBS moderators was dropped in favor of CNN. CBS stayed the same. One liberal broadcast network (NBC) was replaced by another liberal broadcast network (ABC).

How’s that for diversity!

So why are all the moderators left-wingers? Simple. Nearly all the nine members of the Commission on Presidential Debates, who choose the moderators, are active liberals.

The co-chairs are Michael D. McCurry, former spokesman for Bill Clinton,

and Frank J. Fahrenkopf, president of a casino trade group.

Members include Antonia Hernandez, a member of the liberal American Constitutional Society;

Howard Buffett, son of billionaire Obama booster Warren Buffett;

Richard Parsons, a former chief of Citigroup and long-time friend of Obama;

John Jenkins, the president of Notre Dame who invited Obama to speak despite fierce Catholic opposition;

Dorothy Ridings, president of the liberal-leaning Council on Federations; and Newton Minow, liberal-leaning former chairman of the FCC.

add in a leftest media reporting on the debate, and Romney and Ryan will have their work cut out for them...

can we get Newt to step in? at least then it would be worth watching...

Almost makes me ill......when there is so much at stake. Oh, I am sure
Romney-Ryan can out debate them--but who's to say that Obama-Biden
don't get to see the questions before hand. Isn't anyone fair anymore? :cry:

Good luck with that. The man's already been elected once by the viewers.

Yes but the true un employment rate was at not 12% and the debt was not 16 trillion dollars up 6 trillion in the last four years. Obama ran on Hope and Change with pretty little speeches read from a teleprompter as he had NO RECORD to run on. Let's pray the viewers actually block out the noise as he would call it and truly look at his record and what he has done and judge him on that and not the hand picked soft ball MSM questions like what is your favorite color and who is your favorite Jersey Shore star. As you can bet those will not be the type of questions they will demand Romney answer.

The bettors and the bookies are seeing the same and have almost put Romney out of the running.. I see many of the Repub talking heads are suggesting the big money folks financing Romney- write him off in the loss column and switch their money over and concentrate on the Congressional races...

intrade has % who believe Obama will win at
Obama 75%
Romney 25%

Most the major bookmakers are about the same-- 4 to 1 odds on Romney
1 to 5 or 6 on Obama....

Actually Romney had a little bounce back over the weekend... Must have been some Repub parties and some gay reveler millionaires put up a few bucks to bet..
On Friday it was 79.0 for Obama, 20.6 for Romney
Even McCain had much higher odds than Romney at this time in 08...

Remember how Kerrry was supposed to win by the polls

So how did Kerry do as Prez?

But the folks that put there money down- the gamblers were betting Bush...In October Bush was ahead of Kerry 60-40 and by just before election the numbers had risen to Bush at 70 with Kerry at 30...
