I think we should have a tax on political contributions..about 1% payed by the candidates and political organizations such as move on.org and swift boat.. just 1% because the way these guys are raking in the money and spending it 1% ain't going to kill them.. and it is a tax the rich type tax..

and I think we need to look at federal matching funds... why are we funding these losers?

with the list of losers growing and the cost of elections skyrocketing, it no longer makes sense to support the failed runs unless a fair tax on all contributions goes to fund it..

add in the "the grant was $74,692,000 for each major party nominee." and "Public grants of $14,924,000 went to each of the major parties for their conventions ."...

and it makes it impossible for a regular guy (or gal) to run.. against the major party candidate..

was that the reason for funding "super campaigns". to make it so expensive no one can run but the party elite?
