When I turned 50, my wife responded to their solicitation and signed me up. I told her I wish I'd talked to her before she did that. Anyway, I e-mailed the AARP and told them that I wasn't expecting any money back, but to remove my name from their rolls because on philosophical and political grounds, I could never be a member. They sent me my money back, too.

It would be very interesting to read the AARP response....if there was one.
AARP is a bad organization working against those it proclaims to support.

It's too much of a front for Democrat party candidates and programs that add to our descent into socialism for me.
