and the grandson to get home. :D

Tam needed a new sleigh for her ponies so I got busy in the shop and did a bit of welding. I love using salvage stuff so you might recognize the runners as the top two rails off a Cow c Country corral panel. The pole I had built a couple winters ago with some salvage pipe and square tube from a old round bale feeder.
Tam is the carpenter and artist with the paintbrush. :D
I think colt will enjoy going for a sleigh ride with grandma at xmas. :D

Careful wishing for the white stuff.

I agree- but it looks like he may have already jinxed us... Some models I've seen show Big Muddy's area may possible get 7-12 inches...

Raining pretty good out there tonight. Just came in from putting the dogs in the barn and it's getting slippery. Might put a end to using the saddle horse for the winter with a sheet of ice under the snow. :?

You ever put chokes on shoes. I know they don't do much good when your horse is walking on snow balls the size of an orange, but I sure like em on ice. :p
I AM NOT READY FOR SNOW!! nor cold, but I guess it doesn't really make any difference, cause its gonna happen.

Rained all day yesterday- turned to snow last night- still snowing and now have an inch or two of snow on the ground and 25 mph winds whipping it around... Temp is on the drop, 10 degrees right now...
Looks like we are in for a nasty week...

BMR, what would you estimate the weight of the sleigh? My wife has a Shetland and some minis that would look sweet pulling a sleigh like yours but I am concerned about the weight.
