I think these 2 may end up a little too big to keep for replacements.

u are my inspiration Soapweed- i don't have quite as good of scenery as u do- but my grass is tall and my cattle fat :)

Your cattle are fatter, and you sure have more trees. Thanks for the compliment.

That 6595 son looks to be a pretty nice bull! I bought a yearling son of his this spring and owned him a total of 3 weeks. The little bugger had a terrible disposition problem. After the third time of putting someone over the fence (and truly meaning business) I decided I'd take my loss and he went to the sale barn. :(

That must come from his dam, because the alliance cattle are known for great dispositions- ours is gentle as can be and we are very happy with his first calf crop. And i would say he looks as good or better than most angus bulls in the AI books.

I am located in east Ottertail County.

I like that line of cattle and yours looks good; and produces good.

What is he on the dam's side?

his dam is a descendant of tehama bando and WR Bar Marriott- those are both several generations back. I never got to see her- so i don't quite know what to expect for udder quality in his daughters. His sire is supposed to throw good udders tho- so hopefully it will be good. He is so good in every other way, including his purchase price :) , that i can't worry about it.
