Aluminum Body F150

Will the F250 follow suit in the use of Aluminum? Am thinking this may not be a pickup you'd want to do a lot of body damage to. Is the hamster running inside the little 2.7 liter twin turbo V6 going to get tired? Anyone hankering to go out and get one?

Not me I'm very hard on pickups. My 2009 F350 I've had for one year and have managed to destroy the box. The box on my 03 is trashed. Were building a bale deck on the 03 in two weeks then we'll see on the 09 both will be steel.

I would but the queen throws such a fit I have to wreck them first. But now that her Dad put a bed on his truck I bet it will be okay.

Around here if I do anything without informing, discussing, asking and sometimes begging "she who must be obeyed" it is often an interesting day.

Nice to see others have a similar relationship.

As for "al-you-min-ee-umm" as my Brit neighbour would say - I wonder how it would hold up - sure would beat the rust issue though. Small motors can be a pain when it comes to big loads.

With Peach, the Kosmo Kid, and me, we have an informal agreement that any two can outvote the other one. Sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn't.

How well I know. Sometimes, I just have to pull my seniority card. :)
