Am I reading this correctly?

I have no problem in questioning someone's integrity. However, I prefer to direct my questions and comments to that person and let them defend or justify their position back. Don't see much sense in directing my opinions or questions about a person that isn't standing in front of me or sitting on a board like this one.

What I don't understand is why people run down others that have made their operation a success. I would prefer to gather pieces and parts of their success and make it work for me.

Most of you know me well enough by now to realize that I will call a spade a spade should I feel the need. :)

Cows coming in the fall with no calf, now is that part of his success?

Kind of like the preacher preachin on the sins of alcohol and then invites you over to get drunk.

I am not, nor have I ever been a Kit Pharo fan, nor do I buy into all of his ideas, but let this one die. I am thinking must of you nay sayers are just jealous of his ability to promote his products. People have to buy his cattle.

I don't think this thread is all about Kit-my one business dealing with him I was very impressed-I called about a couple bulls-I described what I looked for soundness wise and he told me he thought they weren't up to snuff-I was really impresssed with that. Some of my experiences haven't gone so well unfortunately. Kit is an interesting fellow to visit with we had a pretty good phone debate one time.

I have learned alot from reading what Kit says and writes. Sometimes I find him offensive and am curious about why. I am not going to speculate on here about that. I do know that, like a number of folks on this forum, he is one of the folks that motivates me to think outside the ol box.

None of you have asked why the cows were open. My understanding is they were part of a late weaning experiment in a drought situation.

Larrry-if you are so damn worried about what they are, don't buy them.

That is basically what I was going to say. The cattle are advertised on Mr. Pharo's website, he can describe and price his cattle however he wants. If he can sell dry cows for that kind of money - more power to him.
Would I be personnally interested in them? No, but to someone they may be just what they are seeking.

I never did say he shouldn't sell them, he's just a tad hypocritical.

If he had said something along these lines
I am offering these cows for sale. They did miss a calf but I feel it was a fluke case and I feel they would go on and make a fine cow for many people. Our policy is to sell cows that don't bring in a calf which is a way to control our numbers also. So these cows are offered and I am sure they would fit into many programs and are way better than most cows offered on the market today.
