Amazing what some wet snow can do!

This DU project was bone dry a week ago.

lol...Dylan; how many miles of drainage does your creek have to gather water??? Looks good......enjoy it while it lasts!

I will do my very best to enjoy it while it lasts. :) :)

It has been three years since it ran. That creek starts some 20 to 25 miles away. It took a while for the water to arrive I was beginning to think it wasn't coming then boom, overnight we had a creek.

Time to do the dance of joy, Dylan. Sure makes everyone
happy when moisture comes after a drought. I hope you get
more as you need it.

It's been raining here since noon today. We sure did need it.

The fun of poking around and playing in the spring run off water never really wears off. :) Good thing it stopped raining up stream or you might need a canoe.

Congrats on the moisture! :D Moisture sure affects our moods this time of year, it's make or break you time. I hope others who need some moisture are getting their share too.

Waist-deep drifts in the yard this morning, and still snowing. January was prettier  . I'd prefer rain, but this white stuff will melt soon enough.

BMR, yeah it's amazing how clear the reflection of the clouds is. That photo was taken with a phone by our second daughter Julia.

Justin, it certainly lifted my spirits! :)

WR it would be nice if Mother Nature was always equitable, never like to see any one else getting the short end of the stick. :(

Per, a canoe? Whats that? Must have something to do with water. Needing a canoe might not be too bad. :)

LBR, a crazy change, the run off was sorely needed as you know because even if we had grown some grass many pastures were unusable for lack of water. Now if we can get a little moisture to soak into the ground we might get through another season.

NR, JoJo said to make it clear to you that that was no puddle, about 4 ft deep behind her. :)

FH, hope your rain amounts to something, nothing like being able to do a dance of joy after a good rain. :)

Silver, there is a reason this is referred to as "next year country". Hopefully this turns into one of those next years. Off to a good start. :) :)
