Check out the poetry page (pg.100) of the latest issue. The picture at the top of the page sure looks like ole Jinglebob. The poems are written by two gals from SD & titled Odes of Inspiration. Could it be that JB was the Inspiration :???:

I just went to a magazine store yesterday and only found "Cowboy" which I thought was supposed to have Saddletramp on the front. but didn't.
What was the Mag called, please? Seems so many have similar names.

The story I wrote about Saddle Tramp was on the cover of the fall iswsue of Cowboy Magazine, published by Darrel Arnold, out of La Veta, CO.

The picture of me is inside of the American Cowboy. It's one Jeri Dobrowski took, when she intervied me for the Cowboy Magazine.

They used the picture on Cowboy Poetry.com on the Art Spur Program, (it's supposed to "spur" you on, to write a poem).

One of the ladies who runs Cowboy Poetry.com also is the head of the poetry for American Cowboy Magazine. So she used the picture and two poems, of wonderful poets and nice ladies (they are both good friends) who happened to send in poems , inspired by the picture.

Whew!

Got it figured out? :)

Jinglebob, that surely is a good picture of you and your ponies.

I was disappointed that the poetry wasn't yours, however.
It was good, but yours should have been there too, since you were
the one in the picture.

You're gettin' famous, old boy!!!!!!!!!!!

Alas, while I have found "fame", I've yet to discover "fortune"!

I tried to write one to fit the picture, but I ain't real good at writing something like that. When I write, they just kind of come to me and then I have to work on them. I've been busy with other things this summer and fall. :)

You know, there is a difference between poetry and stories that rhyme.
