The American Nurses Association Endorses Senator Barack Obama

September 12, 2008

The American Nurses Association (ANA) announces its endorsement of Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) in the 2008 Presidential Election. The ANA represents the interests of the nation’s 2.9 million registered nurses.

“As President, Barack Obama will bring real change to our health care system,” said ANA President Rebecca M. Patton, MSN, RN, CNOR. “Nurses are consistently voted the most trusted profession by the American people, and we, as a profession, trust that Barack Obama will see that affordable quality health care is made available to everyone.”

And this changes the fact that he's a Socialist how? Does this change his attitudes toward the Constitution or his racist Black Liberation theology?

OT you need to practice on that shock effect.

Maybe shave the sides of your head, pink, purple and green Mohawk, dangling earings in both ears with blue feathers etc.

Well like I said earlier- I hope when you are lying in the hospital suffering-or in a resthome wishing the nurse would change your diaper- that you are sure to tell them how highly you think of them- and what unthinking morons you deem them to be....

Yep- only folks that think like you radical right wingnuts are right

The nurses endorse him and suddenly he's not a Socialist, his past has no shadows, he's no longer a racist, and he's a born-again Constitutionalist?

I've got it wrong that Wright is the head of a racist group and Obama was part of that group for 20 years?

I've got it wrong that an individual that has associated with Socialists all of his adult life and has said that we need to "Spread the Wealth" via taxes is not a Socialist?

I've got it wrong that Rezko, Wright, Ayers, etal are shady characters?

Exactly where am I wrong?

This is so much BS. My wife is a RN and she was never polled by the ANA.
I wonder how they can honestly say 2.9 million registered nurses endorse
Osama Obama.

And yes my wife is a member of the ANA.

My daughter is a nurse, and guess what oldtimer the 2.9 million voters you claim to have is the UNION not the nurses!!!! Your numbers shrink dramtically when confronted by the nurseing staffs at the hosptials, Just because the union supports your hero does not mean the NURSES themselves support him
Guess some retired barney fife sheriff from Montana doesn't see the real picture when place in front of him!!
