It would be interesting to know the underlying reasons for these statistics.
For instance, such a large number of people in prison.
We all know prison does not change people for the better, it takes something more than that.
People are not being imprisoned for stealing to feed their family, they are committing crimes because they have adopted that way of life. Getting caught is what they think is wrong. Poverty is also connected to this way of life. They think the world owes them a living, when they should believe that they it owe society to uplift their way of life.
They think anything is alright, any kind of perversion or vice, if it feels good do it.

I just wonder if this reflects part of the life cycle of a country that has had so much success? I certainly hope our leaders can improve on those statistics in the future.
