Flemington, NJ, January 14, 2011 – A new national study among 1,437 self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents revealed that Americans indicated that Sarah Palin was more sincere and believable after viewing her speech in response to the shootings in Tucson.

The study was conducted during January 13-14 by HCD Research and reported on its MediaCurves.com® website, to obtain Americans’ perceptions of Sarah Palin after viewing a video of a speech she gave in response to the shootings in Tucson.

Respondents were asked to rate Sarah Palin on a scale from 1-7 regarding likeability, believability and sincerity, with 1 representing “not at all strong in this attribute” and 7 representing “extremely strong in this attribute.”

With the exception of likeability among Democrats, Palin’s attribute ratings increased among all parties after viewing her speech. The most notable increase was her sincerity ratings, which increased from 2.62 to 2.69 among Democrats, from 5.25 to 5.45 among Republicans and from 3.68 to 3.85 among Independents.

When you look at the results of the poll it is very telling. The ONLY place she went down was in the Dems Post speech likeabilty. They believe her more, they found her more sincere but they liked her less. This proves no matter what she does the Dems will always find a reason to dislike her more. I think the dislike they have comes from the fear of her. The better she looks even in their own eyes the more they dislike her.

I love it when they claim she didn't write her speech. How many times has she said she has no staff. :?

They call her too inexperienced to be President yet She cleaned up the political scene of the largest State in the Union while serving as Governor and don't forget they voted for Obama, the poster boy for INEXPERIENCED

They call her stupid but yet she took on the Greed big oil companies and WON and don't forget they support a guy that needs a teleprompter to speak to 6th graders.

The Dems tried to destroy her with their hate filled rhetoric and she only became more powerful.

The way the Dems tactics to destroy her are working Todd might just have to get use to the title of First Dude.

After her speech some things were obvious.

Lib.: "She didn't write her own speech and she wasn't very presidential"

did obama write his own speech?

Lib.: "well no, but he's the President"

so not writing your own speech makes you Presidential?

Lib.: "racist"

Chuck Shumer's advisor was just on FOX and he was saying he figured that Palin's response to the Shootings has made her un-electable. First I guess he didn't see this poll that proves she didn't hurt her chances if her Believeability, Sincerity and Likeability all went up with the exception of Likeability with the Dems.

Second why is it when I hear a Dems saying a Republican like Sarah Palin is UN-electable does it make me think that person is the exact one that should run. And when a Dem thinks a Republican like Jeb Bush, has done good and should run, I get a feeling he should not run at this time.

My guess is they fear campaigning against someone that has been vetted to the extremed, has proven she can take the heat and maintain STRONG support from her growing base. And I can see why a Dem would want Jeb "Bush" to run considering what George "Bush's" approval rating was just two years ago.

Wasn't she already unelectable, before the speech :???:

I think it is crazy to call Palin "stupid" when we have an elected official in the white house that said he was going to visit all 57 states.

It is also crazy to attack Palin for inciting violence without one shred of evidence especially when you are defending a person that told his base to bring a gun to a knife fight.

BUT That has never stopped the left and never will, as there are two sets of rules one for the ELITE Politicans like OBAMA who has the backing of the likes of BILLIONAIRE GEORGE SOROS and the GREED FAT CATS ON WALL STREET and one set for the Politicans like Palin that have the backing of the so called astroturf of the Tea Party.

The thing about this whole issue is the Liberal Left and the Democrat Elites have underestimated the power of the Tea Party and the more they do it the bigger the Tea Party base grows. People are getting sick of their attitudes that they THINK they are smarter than the voters.
