I just hope he is smart enough to realize he isn't smart enough, if elected. Hopefully he will surround himself with good advisors.

I'm sure he will. He's got such a stellar record of judgement so far.

Kelly is right, super close ups in mags are touched up. Anyone who has taken a photojournalism class or an advertising class knows this.

What! Airbrush the lovely Governor Palin? Who would dare do that. She's authentic! She's real! A bulldog with lipstick! She's one of "us"! I'm sure she'd be horrified at the idea the magazine airbrushed her photo. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see her tell us that she TOLD them not to airbrush the photo.  But it's obvious where the rightwingnuts' priorities are these days.

Newsweek didn't airbrush it....and she looks absolutley gorgeous...Alive and vibrant....then you look at the airbrushed Obama. You see a plastic bobble head doll.

Nope. The lovely Sarah has a hairy upper lip and it's driving the wingnuts nuts. FOX news is all over it with two, count 'em, two viewpoints. We're in a financial meltdown, two ongoing wars, total loss of confidence in our government and FOX gives TA DA: Sarah Palin's upper lip. There's no argument to be made here. As Biden said after one her rambling non-comments in the debate: "I just don't know where to start."
