I have said many times that nothing surprises me anymore with Democrats, but this is too much to be true....surely even Democrats have more scruples than this.......................don't they?

Please tell us this one of those stupid Borwitz cartoon columns please?

Actually I can't get very excited about the article... #1 the author of the article is not known as being impartial and definitely has a political employment bias...

#2 The Governor is correct - and said he could give the convict a full clemency (along with a full range of other penalty/death penalty options granted the executive branch's with their Clemency/Pardon power) between the election and the end of his term-- BUT did not say he would give him full clemency... He has already granted a temporary reprieve because of his oppostition to the death penalty...
This is an option Presidents and Governors have under their Clemency/Pardon powers...

And #3 if this is not what the voters of the state want (Governors to have those powers) then its up to them to vote against the Governor and do away with the law that gives them that power...

ranchhand- Have you followed the Barry Beach/ Kimberly Neese murder case? Do you agree with the many backers that want for him to be allowed a new trial or a pardon/release from prison?

So then you are saying that if Texas does not want Perry to have the ability to veto funding then they should not have given him that power correct?

Power. Power, Power Control, Control, Control

You're supporting the right bunch - they're all about what you advocate- except they are out of control in their hunger for power.

Just like his president ran on being the most transparent president. But they hide all the info that will hurt them political. It is all about elections to them and they could care less about the nation, the people they represent. Just like the open borders and the diseases that we are now getting. People need to get over the jealousy they have of people with money. You notice all the left on here run people down that have money and worked for it. Just like OT bringing up the drug rehab for only rich people. I am so sick of all the hands that are out for the free stuff Obama promised when he was elected and every Democrat president has gave them. :!: :x

Quite amazing.

I'd give him points if I thought he was playing sarcastic, but I know he's not. He writes this stuff with a straight face.
