Nobody cares about Beach at this moment. OT is just trying his little distraction thingy. :roll:ranch hand said:http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/08/25/hickenlooper-opens-door-to-reprieve-for-murderer-nathan-dunlap/
How about this one OT? Don't know enough on Beach to comment.

Actually I can't get very excited about the article... #1 the author of the article is not known as being impartial and definitely has a political employment bias...

#2 The Governor is correct - and said he could give the convict a full clemency (along with a full range of other penalty/death penalty options granted the executive branch's with their Clemency/Pardon power) between the election and the end of his term-- BUT did not say he would give him full clemency... He has already granted a temporary reprieve because of his oppostition to the death penalty...
This is an option Presidents and Governors have under their Clemency/Pardon powers...
And #3 if this is not what the voters of the state want (Governors to have those powers) then its up to them to vote against the Governor and do away with the law that gives them that power...
ranchhand- Have you followed the Barry Beach/ Kimberly Neese murder case? Do you agree with the many backers that want for him to be allowed a new trial or a pardon/release from prison?
Hickenlooper, a Democrat, recently said he is against the death penalty, though in his first run for governor he said he supported capital punishment.
