Congress has a bill, Rep sponsored, that will cut the # of weeks you can draw unemployment.

I think, they want to cut it down to 23 or 32 wks from the 99 that you can draw now.

YEAH!!! Go for it!!

A person here in my area sat on her arse for 2 yrs because her logic was, " why get a job, I'm drawing a ck".... Now when those ck's ran out what did she do"

She went out and got a job!!!

Case closed!

The case for extending unemployment insurance, in one chart

Posted by Brad Plumer on December 5, 2013 at 4:40 pm

Congress is starting to take notice of the fact that more than 1.3 million people will lose their jobless benefits on Dec. 28 unless lawmakers renew an emergency aid program for the unemployed that's set to expire this year.

House Democrats said on Thursday that they won't support a budget deal unless it includes a one-year extension of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program, which would cost roughly $25.1 billion.

You better talk to your local Democrap about the extension they are seeking.

I had an interesting talk with a driver today. he is black, and grew up in the ghetto. he said he loves his mother with all his heart, and would die defending her, but she, and those like her is why America is dying today.

he and his 5 siblings ALWAYS had jobs...not good ones, but JOBS. his mother never worked a day in her life until Bill Clinton made the "Work Fare" program... this was the first time his mother ever felt pride in herself. as soon as they abolished that program, she went right back on the govt teet, and been there ever since.

it was a refreshing view point that he had. a kid from the worse part of tow, made it out, rand a fleet of 7 trucks..... a real success story.
