A thrilling sight to behold yesterday on a miserabley cold windy afternoon

Guess she wanted to display a bright red ornament in the spirit of the season. Sometimes these deals magically put themselves back; since I had other plans for the remainder of the day I decided to take a wait and see approach. Today came along, and the situation had not improved on its own. Time to take action. I called the Kosmo Kid's number so he could load horses and meet me at the job site.

Ready to get his horse out

Here he comes

Pre-fab load out facility

Alleyway leading up to it

Looking the other way

The Angus literature doesn't show this as a possibility.

Taking her down along the fence

My compadre off to shut a gate that we didn't end up going through

Same guy in telescopic version

Here he is once again.

The Kosmo Kid

Getting close to the load out area

Through the gate

Negotiating some barriers

Easy does it girl

That is the right idea

Doing fine

Getting close to the destination

Now everything looks hunky dory and I wish I could report that she stepped right in without incident. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. I was messing with a camera and the Kosmo Kid was adjusting the zipper on his coat. We bombed the deal and couldn't even blame an ignorant cowdog. We kept our cool, tried it again, tended to business, and she went on the next time in desirable fashion.

In at last, to be taken home to get sewed up. I will keep her until we get a calf from her and then she gets a ride to town.
