Animal abortion

Ok first off I'm not an animal rights person but over in ranch talk there was talk about lutalyce. Which I have been around and have no problem using. It made me wonder why is it ok to have animals abort? Is it because they are less then humans? I was just curious as to if there is anything about stopping any life for unwarnted circumstances is wrong? Or do we as humans have that rung above in the life ladder and can do whatever pleases us?

No smart remarks I am pondering this. :???:

The generally accepted reason is that animals have no soul. They are not created in God's image.

Thanks ff for answering. I didn't know if it was something like that or as humans are we playing God snuffing out what could have been? The embryo couldn't survive without the host cow so as I've said before then is it a life of it's own or not at that point?

I think lute only works for the first 90-100 days? If a cow ever comprehends that's she's carrying another life, I think it's doubtful she'd know it at that point. I think we should use it carefully. It can't be good for an animal to be aborted over and over. But I don't see anything wrong with using it properly.

Every living creature needs the right environment to survive. An embryo just happens to need the environment of a womb.

Does that make it less a life?

Good point Mike.

I know most on here probably think it's dumb as hell to even think about but it just made me wonder. Plus I think sometimes somebody points something out that you hadn't thought of by yourself such as this.
