Yep, those would the freinds I was talking about. And they run the dog I mentioned. Do you know them, do you hunt? I know you said one time you ride at the shooting dog trials. Who else do you know that I might know? We know pretty much all the All Age pros, and alot of amatuers.

We stayed with Davis's in 2000 when we went to the National. Ran in the Free For All at Sedgefield, I've never been so lost trying to scout :? All the pine trees look alike and they go in circles  But it was quite the experience.

Let me see if I got this right? You drove all the way from Oregon to Union Springs Alabama to run dogs?

Good folks. I graduated from a small high school with Mazie, and my younger brother was married to Colvins oldest daughter at one time. Small world, ain't it.

I haven't done much hunting lately but I used to have some dogs 10-15 years ago. No running ones though. Never got into the Pro end of it.
Entered an amateur a few times. Sedgefield is fun.

I do keep up during the Nationals on the website each day of the event.
What's the dogs name?

Hope the dog does well! I'm sure Colvin will do a good job with it. They might be still in Manitoba. Not sure.
Keep me posted!

Yea, we ran in 5 trials and the National. Only 30 - 40 dogs in the whole country get to run in the National you know...and we had two that year :p

It is a small world, and they are still in Manitoba. But Mazie is packing as fast as she can  They got caught in a snow storm last year. She is my best friend, even though we don't see each other much any more. Boy, they are funny!! Colvin came out here to run a dog last April and stayed here 10 days. Mazie didn't get to come but hopefully they both will this coming April. They always judge the trial in Reno, nv. and Colvin says they will come up after in. The dog's name is Ardrigh Justina.

I'm impressed! To say the least.

You have certainly been at the top.

It takes a lot of traveling to make that circuit.

w here) Nobody believes how much WORK there is in any job, until you're in the fire......even being a grocery checker has a lot more to it than it looks like....

That is certainly the truth, Peg4x4. Whenever I see a tv nurse show where the nurses have time to stand around gabbing and arrange their love life
...I'd like to strangle the producer.[/quot

Not too much truth on tv...I'd never let "House" in the room with a live paitent...So far,"Jerico" looks true to life(has Gerald McRanie,so has to be good)
