.

Stop me is you’ve heard this one before (and you have 12 times before according to this article) but another green energy company which received stimulus money, A123, has filed for bankruptcy. A123 was awarded a $250 million federal grant under Barack Obama’s green energy initiative and today the company announced it was not enough to keep them afloat any longer.

We can now add A123 to an ever growing list of green energy companies which received stimulus money which have either already filed for bankruptcy or are in serious trouble; that list includes, but is not limited to, Solyndra, Solar Trust, SoloPower, Enir1, BrightSource, Abengoa, SunPower, LightSquared, Tesla, Fisker, and Beacon Power. All of these companies have ties to either Democrat donors or Democrat operatives.

Mitt Romney said it best during the last debate when he told Barack Obama, “you don’t pick winners and losers, you pick losers.” He was 100% right and at this point it can no longer be written off as simply bad investments or decisions because there are simply too many for Barack Obama not to have known the risks associated with these companies. Yet he pushed forward with these investments for ideological and political reasons, hoping and praying they would pay off in the long term. (Both for his agenda and for the Democrats who hoped to profit from these decisions.)

Barack Obama put his heart–and Democrat donors–ahead of his head, the information he had available, and the taxpayers. He let his vision cloud his judgement and now we are all going to pay the price.

Wow now that is a record to be proud of and considering he has already said he is going to continue to invest Tax Payer money in these types of companies, I see that bankrupt number going up.
