Another Phony Soldier

This one was praised by George W. Bush:

"Rick Sanchez has done a fabulous job. He's been there for a long time. His service has been exemplary."

After this speech

I expect that the Limbaugh/Coulter/O'reilly crew will be calling him a "phony soldier."

You're the only one who has referred to him as a phony soldier, ff. Why do you consider him a phony soldier?

Because he has the same credentials as the other phony soldiers that have been identified?

Are you ff? Or maybe you're her spokesman?

Personally, I think his "leadership" was a disaster in Iraq because of the torture at Abu Ghraib. I didn't call him a phony soldier; I suggested that Republicans, represented by their vocal, mean spirited, loudmouths will call him a phony solder because he's speaking out about the mess in Iraq.

Like these comments

"There is no question that America is living a nightmare with no end in sight."

"“From a catastrophically flawed, unrealistically optimistic war plan, to the administration’s latest surge strategy, this administration has failed to employ and synchronize the political, economic and military power,” Sanchez said."

I'm sorry, was this a private conversation? I thought this was in a public forum and rhetorical questions, when posed publicly, could be answered or responded to by anyone who is registered. Or do you think, maybe, you should use the PM function when you want a private conversation? Otherwise, STFU and quit your Texas whining......I heard enough of that sh** last week when OU won.

"Sanchez avoided singling out at any specific official. But he did criticize the State Department, the National Security Council, Congress and the senior military leadership"

No different from what MacArthur or Patton had to say about U.S. officials.

 I don't believe you've heard ME whining. On the other hand, YOU seem to be doing plenty of it.

As regards this being a private conversation, it certainly wasn't. But I asked a question of ff - VERY obviously. I even included her username in my post and asked her - and only her - for a response to a question. Here, let me show you:

(I highlighted the pertinent parts of my post for you - the ones that designated it as being addressed to her.)

I thought it was quite clear that I was addressing her. However, I failed to factor in possible comprehension difficulties among certain readers.

Of course you did. Aren't you the one who started this thread? Aren't you the one that came up with the subject for it? Let me show it to you again:

"Another Phony Soldier"

And then you go on to talk about Lt. General Sanchez. I don't see any question marks in your subject. You never asked a question - never asked if anybody would consider him a phony soldier. YOU implied that he is a phony soldier.

And now we know why you think that:

Because you disagree with him, you called him a "phony soldier." That's pretty pathetic, ff. I hope the liberals condemn you for it just like they condemned Rush for using those words. :???:
