after hearing that former gop house leader was recently indicted.. I thought a little late but he should have to be responsible for his actions.. just like any other citizen.
and how does a guy go from being a teacher to being able to pay out 3.5 million to someone bribing him? let alone any other influnace that person may have had on his position?
BUT,... the charges are for avoiding structuring laws.. laws designed to not let badguys/ drugdealers ect launder money..
and for lieing to the FBI.. ok,.. why isn't every-thug under the sun charged with the same?
he should have to deal with the "actual" crime,.. the misconduct, and the bribery charges.
it seems these days if the feds want to charge you with something they can find a law that will fit..
