CNN speculated on Friday that if Al Gore has a stealth campaign to make a 2008 bid for President, he may announce it at the Academy Awards when he expects to win an Oscar for his documentary an "Inconvenient Truth."

Now if you need some real entertainment- this site has a show called the Hillary Show (with this weeks guest Nancy Pelosi)....

I was kinda worried that OT might swallow his tongue when Melissa Ethridge kissed her wife.

Who is Melissa Ethridge? I didn't watch but about 2 minutes of the whole show when the grandkids flipped my TV off Bullriding...And all I saw then was women dressed like men- and men looking like :???: ......Don't even look like women....And then none of them can speak English-- should hold this show in France or Italy......

I quit going to or watching movies about the time John Wayne died-- probably seen less than a handful since then....

I wonder how much energy/money was spent for all the designer gowns, jewelry, and gas used to fly in and limo haul all of Al Gores new buddies to that show- so they could give him an Oscar and bitch about conserving energy and feeding and clothing the poor folk?

I said the same thing. They were going GREEN but I bet none of them pushed their Limos to the event or even rode a city bus.

I recorded it and fast forwarded through it, but from what I saw I could not agree more! I would stop on the awards and it seemed almost all of them were things that no one cares about. More time was spent on the music scorers or cimentology or editing. Never seen so many people receive awards that I had no idea who they were or cared why they won.

And then as you mentioned there was all the Politics and Al Gore butt kissing.

The Jokes were very one sided, a good host makes jokes about everyone.

Wonder why no one mentioned that Al Gore's home used 20 times the Electricity of the average home last year, when in his movie he says we all should conserve. Wonder how much energy is spent on all those Hollywood stars Mansions, limo's and private planes, but then they tell us to conserve energy, heck we conserve not for the environment but because we are poor and can not afford it.

Funny how a bunch of Movie stars are all so wise, when a few years ago they were all Waiters. Now they are the Champions of all that is honorable.

Well, as you all know most folks want everyone else to conserve and not themselves... There are some folks who walk the walk and not just talk it but it seems that often the most vocal, on both sides of most any issue, are also dang likely to be talking out of both sides of their mouths and doing something completely different..
