Looks like March may come in like a lion...Already a screwy spring...Was warm enough in the Missouri Breaks to get all the creeks out there running...Neighbor has cows stuck on both sides- and is about ready to start calving....He's going to love this forecast.....

Looks like some of this is supposed to hit the Dakotas, Minnesota, and northern Ill.....

...seriously if I see one more snowfall I'm going postal
I feel your pain, Mrs.Greg. I was thinking just the other day that if I have to turn on the A/C in the tractor ONE MORE TIME before February is over, I'm gonna throw a fit. :lol2:

Looks like most of this is going to go east of us...Its snowing lightly now, but we've had less than an inch--but my son called from the Glendive area and said some places down there have 7-8" already and its snowing pretty heavy...

Looking like most of the heavy snow will stay north in ND, Minnesota, Ill, Michigan....

Nice thing so far is that their is No wind.....

This is kind of a weird storm-- as it is moving northwest toward you Mrs. Greg instead of the normal easterly pattern...Radar shows a spot of snow just sitting and spinning over eastern Montana- slowly moving into Canada...

So tuckle that baby down in the straw good....

All we are forcasted for is rain and thunder.. looking at the maps it looks like the northwest corner, and I mean like the northwest corner of the northwesternmost county in the state, might get snow today but it will shift over to rain... We have a flood watch, surprise suurpirse surprise.. We are mostly above the 100 year flood on the cattle part of the place so we don't have to worry to much about that..

Were calveing now My boots have 17" tops and the snow from last weekend is that deep in the woods now they are talking as much again this should get to be fun.Of course if it's 3 ft. deep the cows dont travel all over to have calves. The wind is really suppose to blow tomorrow so I am feeding in the woods and brush mother nature's natural windbreak.

This little storm has just sat on us and spun over about a 4-5 county area all day...Must have about 3-4" now--Still snowing pretty good...

This weather pattern reminds me of a few years ago when we had such a wet year, we never had to irrigate or anything...Every little storm sat on top of us and spun out the moisture-- I hope this is shaping up to be an identical year.....
