Reader, "What are you people crazy thinking that owning guns is a RIGHT? "

The Second Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the RIGHT of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Any questions?

How dare you question the privileges afforded me in my/our Bill Of Rights.

Which other parts of the Constitution would you like to see disemboweled?

This statement by you is borderline treasonous. I take that back. IT IS treasonous to me.

A story in pictures.

A "liberal" finds a document they have never read before.

Well, Reader, I see you've responded to other threads since this has been up, so I'll take it that little issue is ironed out. You're welcome.

Even a first grader could see she is wrong and a kindergartner could admit they are wrong.. Silence is golden.

That's the silence of no credibility.

We can laugh at Reader, but the scary fact is that there are millions of people like her out there, many even in elected office, who are voting accordingly and who are influencing and writing policy. Do you think this exchange is going to change her mind, no matter how hard she got popped? I wouldn't bet a nickel on it, nor on any of the other moonbats. They have no idea what the hell they're talking about, but they're doing it anyway and they're making things happen. They don't make any sense, don't know it, and don't care. It's kind of like a real-life episode of the Twilight Zone.

You are right she will never accept what she doesn't want to. Everyone should read Stephen P. Halbrooks book "That Every Man Be Armed." It tells of James Madison being largely in charge of drafting the original Bill of Rights. He looked over a very large list of proposed amendments which had been recommended by various states, then he narrowed them down. He submitted them to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, where they passed ten of them, and those ten became known as the Bill of Rights

When a Moonbat gets pushed into a corner on an issue, they don't come out swinging with logic to make their case, they either dodge, discredit, or both.

How can a "RIGHT" be more pronounced & plain than those in a country's"BILL OF RIGHTS"?

You won't hear back from that WHACKO on this..............

The biatch ain't commented yet?

I was merely wondering which of the three words in the title: "Bill Of Rights" does she not understand.

She has, and will continue to..............

To make a statement that gun ownership is a privilege and not a "Right" in the USA is downright clueless.........................

The Supreme Court has affirmed it how many times?

Maybe just maybe if some of you weresn't so consumed with being right and still would listen to opinions that differ from your own then maybe just maybe you would hear something.

I was seaching on guns and found this about Canada.

Canada
Main article: Gun politics in Canada
Canada requires all firearms to be registered with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and all firearms owners to be licensed by the Canadian Firearms Program. The licensing requires extensive background and criminal record checks, that applicants take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, and that all firearms must be stored locked and unloaded.

I think it's a responsible plan for guns.

Except that Canada is looking at abolishing these requirements for the gun Registry, because it has been shown to be a waste of money, due to the fact that gun related crimes continue to be a problem.

It seems the criminals that use guns, did not follow the laws and register their guns with the RCMP, who'd have thunk?

The criminals didn't even sign up for the safety courses? I wonder if they keep them unloaded?
