There was an article in this weeks Western Producer in the About the law regular feature that was talking about a family dispute over some antlers dating back before 73. Anyways they sold for $225,000 US. No wonder the family was fighting over them.

That's the Ed Broder mule deer horns from Chip Lake, Alberta-that deer is the world record nontypical mulie it's quite a long convoluted tale the battle over the horns. A guy up her shot a huge mulie buck quite a few years back (250+ N>T) it had a big drop tine that curved back-get this he sawed it off so it would sit flat on the wall.

Here's the kind of mule deer used to roam up here in the '50's then as the country opened up the whitetails pushed them out. Just starting to see them every now and then again. This guy was shot by an old family friend up at Green Lake in 1958 he scored 240 and change.
