Any Good come from Election?

I would not have wished the results of Tuesdays election on any of us, but now that is a done deal it has me wondering if their can be any good come from it?

1 good thing might be that Republicans will realize they have better chances in elections if they will get back to being conservatives. Lower taxes needs to be partnered with less spending and less government. Stronger stands on Illegal immigration.

2. Dem's got what the wished for now lets see what they can do with it. They can not hide behind the campaign of bash Republicans but not offer any choices. They are the cooks now, lets see some Meat and Potatoes now instead of just complaining about the previous cooks.

Might be that people will see that they truly have nothing to bring to the table. Dem's been bluffing so long now they have to show their cards.

I had to go to town yesterday- stopped at a few places- and everywhere the election was being discussed...Very conservative area, so a few were lamenting the fact so many Democrats won--but most agreed that the Republicans deserved it...Their arrogant uncompromising attitudes on about everything- and still getting nothing accomplished that the home folks wanted, bought them the defeat...

But the majority were quite upbeat-saw this as a sign that our country and our government could/is working...That when any one party starts to get too much power or too arrogant, we can clip their wings and have a mini rebellion- without spilling any blood or killing anyone...

I have to agree with them- altho I am not as optomistic about whichever party members are elected as I'm afraid so many have sold out to the World of the Corporate Elites, who are more and more controlling this country...The one good thing is that maybe some of these newcomers will be fresh blood for a few years- before they sell out too...

We need MAJOR changes in the ways campaigns are funded.....

You bet, I even kinda like it now. The ball is in the libs court and they will have to take action instead of spewing hate.
But heck I even love the fires and drought(not that I want them all the time)............makes you buckle down and reevaluate things.
Remember the economy is one fo the best we have had...........will it stay that way?
There have been no terrorist attacks since 911...........can the left keep it that way.

Man the libs have the pressure on them now

While we are thinking along those lines, America needs to do more for the men and women that served and came home with shattered or no arms, legs, various other injuries, and damaged minds.

My cousin, a Marine, lost 22 of his buddies there. He was blown off a building by a mine. They thought he was dead. He wasn't. But he had 73
stitches in his face and was allowed to come home. But he didn't.
He went back. And now his brother has joined the Marines. They know
what the mission is and how important it is.

What I'm finding out, now that he is home, he is drinking heavily.
We need to help these great Americans get through this. Things
like this has been a fact of war for way too long. They helped us,
now we need to help them.
