I just turned Grandma's house into a "wedding chapel"...

A couple called me and wanted to get married today- I told them I couldn't leave because I was waiting for a couple loads of gravel that I needed to show them where to dump...Since the brides Dad was the old school bus driver they knew where I lived and asked if they could come out- I said Come on... Bride, Groom, their kids, and the witness's- married them in front of my picture window overlooking the creek (almost couldn't pull the groom away from my spotting scope looking at all the deer for long enough to say I do   )....

Grandma got quite a chuckle when I called her and told her her house was a wedding chapel- after she said the normal woman comment "Boy am I glad I picked up your mess last night" .....

Just HOW big were those bucks OT?

Nothing huge- Lot of spikes and forked horns--One fairly nice 5 point whitetail- but he was hanging right next to the creek brush- I can't see him now- I think he ducked back into cover...Them big boys don't get big being dumb...Another week or so and the rut gets going good and we'll start seeing the big boys out in daylight...

Must have been 70-100 head of does grazing with the cows- mostly whitetails- a few mulies, but I didn't see any mulie bucks...

The view out your window sounds like a fine setting for a wedding with our without the scope.
