Anybody been watching this "MyRA" scheme?

We've been hearing trashy leftist snipes about how the market is dangerous. The great thing about the market is "the freedom to choose" versus the force the government wields. Frankly, I'm not sure which holds more risk: US Treasuries or Botswana t bills. Who would willingly invest in an economy running a 30% deficit?

I advocate stockpiling semiprecious metals, ya know, brass and lead. (I stole that joke from my brother) I think the government will again nationalize all the gold. It was never legal before, but I don't see pesky impediments like laws and constitutions inhibiting the government very much. I do hold a Canadian bank account (it might be overdrawn), seriously I don't have enough cash to have a lot sitting around, but prior to 7/1/14 I opened a savings account in Canada. Problem is the US Dollar is going to harm innocent currencies.

I fear private ownership of land is a target. Obama has never spoken publicly thus, but I am convinced he and his ilk can't stand 1% producing all the food (there's that number again). I guarandamntee, let the socialists tax farmers off the land, and starvation will follow.
