No tellin what happened to our photo contest girl LOL........are you wet over there Lilly ?
I saw where yall got some pretty good rain yourself,Houston area was plenty wet.
If that hurricane follows the same path,we are in trouble, believe I will make a trip to town for supplies just in case I get flooded in..............good luck

This is the weather boys guesstimate-- Looks like you could at least get wet again Haymaker...

Wish it would just keep on coming north to visit Canada...  We could definitely stand a little wet....

I heard it was gonna hit the gulf and head north, figured nothing important would be hit until it reached Kansas, and by then it would just be a big ball of rain with little destructive power......

I will mail you a genuine life saving blow up doll, in case the creek gets real high..... hate to see you tread water too long!

all good Texas ranches have cliffs....they herd the sheep to the edge, and wait for them to back up!

Looks like the Texans won't have to shed up their sheep  :p   --Hurricane Dean's biggest blow looks like mostly in Mexico, now...Every forecast they put out they move the tracking a little further south......

Drowning victim found in West Sister Creek

By Alyson Chapman
The Daily Times

Published August 20, 2007

SISTERDALE — Kendall County authorities found the body of a 28-year-old man two days after he was swept away in floodwaters.

The man, Juan Pablo Zaragoza, and his father, Juan Ramon Zaragoza, 48, were driving a Ford F-350 King Ranch truck Thursday evening and drove through the swollen West Sister Creek near FM 473 and FM 1376 in Sisterdale.

When Game Warden Vance Wallace and Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Derome West arrived at the scene both men were in the bed of the truck, which was partially over a guardrail.

“One of the men just grabbed the rope when the truck went over the guardrail and down into the rushing water,” said Kendall County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Matt King.

Recovery efforts were suspended Thursday night because of darkness and the increase in rain and flood levels. On Friday, two DPS helicopters, game wardens and family members resumed the search for the two men. The body of Juan Ramon was recovered about a mile from where he washed away Friday afternoon.

Juan Pablo was found about two miles away from the truck.

The Zaragoza family owns a ranch in Sisterdale, which received about 10.7 inches of rain Thursday.
