Yesterdayathurnderstormwentthrough.jpg

Yesterday the wind howled for most of the day. In the late afternoon, a thunderstorm went through dropping three tenths of an inch of welcome rain.
There was some very sharp lightning which knocked out our internet for nearly 24 hours, and also started a bale pile on fire.

We saw the hay smoking, and Kosmo and I arrived in time.

We pulled bales out of the pile from both ends with the use of Hydra-beds on pickups, getting all the unburned bales out of the way.
Fortunately only one bale burned out of the deal, so our cows lucked out.

Sorry about the hay bale, Soap, glad that's all that burned.

Those pictures of that tree illuminated by the windmill, those are
WOW shots. I want one to frame for my house. I think I would like
the first one, but now I don't know...I'll study them a bit more.
Maybe I'll want 2!!!

So can I buy one from you????

You can just have it if you can figure out how to do with it what you want.

Hard to decide about the pictures of the old tree and the windmill. I like the first one, it shows the hills so well, but something about the last one really makes the subjecs stand out.

We had the 60 mile an hour wind too. Only we recieved a little over a half inch. The wind blew over cattle sheds and tore up windbreaks here.. Fields blew and we had cow poo drifts.. Our younges got a good laugh at the cows peeing in the wind... Silly kid.....
