April 14 is the annual red/white Spring game in Lincoln. If you fellas would like to join me and 60,000 other fine folk at one of the holy grounds of college football, I'd be happy to buy you all (not y'all) a Fresca.

The annual "A" Day game is March 17. Congress has contemplated making it a National Holiday, but like yours, they have disdain for "Holy" institutions..

Thanks for the invite but I guess I better stay here and partake in some "REAL" spirits. Ya'll (not "you all") are welcome here too.

Drinking a Fresca is like eating a green persimmon.

You can wear whatever you want to, Jigs. I'd wear red in Manhattan.

Sam Keller (transfer from Arizona St) is widely expected to be our next QB.

Like Callahan said, if you want to be a prima donna, you can go to Kansas St. So far that stud Freeman is 0-1 against the Huskers.

What the heck is a green persimmons?

Something you don't want to ingest husker....

Of course, I feel much the same about fresca, no thank you

If you give me even a half-hearted "Go Big Red", I could be enticed to "upgrade" that Fresca

Do they even make Fresca anymore?

I don't know.. I was trying to quit the sugar juice a few years ago (coca cola is my addiction) and someone said Fresca might help. Got half way through a can and have had another drop.. Somehow tasteless and nasty tasting at the same time.

can not wait until he is 3-1 vs the big dead

I suppose if I were Callahan, and a new coach pops in and takes my QB away I would play him down too....

NU has had it's share of prima donnas......

Only one that I can think of.(prima donna). Dream on little jigs... Not only will you eat crow with Auburn, but the Husker nation will put a whole new meaning to "you want a piece of this? for your purple kitties...

If Freeman ends up 3 - 1 vs Big Red, make sure you don't pinch yourself and wake up from your dream! Callahan actually said more good things about him that I would of.

NU has had more than our share of championships too. Last count, there's 5 big trophies, 40 something conference trophies, 20 some bowl prizes, etc... in South Stadium. Why don't you meet me there and I'll show you what a National Championship trophy looks like? You can take a picture of one for the folks back home...

I just looked at the list. Princeton has 24 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
does that mean the Huskers are almost as good as Princeton is?

Or does that mean Nebraska's Tradition is just 20% (5/24ths)as good as Princetons?

Mike you ignorant fool ! don't you know that pride and tradition are ONLY found at NU ! and that the great OU / NU rivalry is the envy of every other college. Princeton is ancient history. we are just going back to the 70's, where NU was a lethal juggernaut ....you know, win 9 games and then let someone bitch slap them in the Orange bowl....... it is tradition!

stop using facts to point out the biased opinions of those who don the rose colored glasses. just bow to the big red but don't bow to long or lil' red will poke you in the prison pocket!
