Thank the Lord you are not in Kalifornia. Department of Fish and Game would declare your corrals to be condemned and bought up by the state for Turtle habitat.

Cattle and wildlife of all kinds flourish because they live in close proximity, not in spite of it. If the environmentalists would think just a little bit, they would realize that bonafide ranchers are their best friends. If cattle are taken completely out of the equation, wildlife doesn't do nearly as well. When ranchers feed and take care of their cattle, the wildlife gets to share freely in the bounty.

You should see the elk sharing freely in the bounty of green grass in the hay fields right now :mad:
I think perhaps I will turn the yearlings out to share in the bounty to be had on the queens grass before we are permitted to, seeing as she has her 'cows' on our grass!
