Went to a fun bull sale
There were about 80 Angus and 70 black composites
They came into the ring from three to five at a time. You could buy one or as many as you wanted, until all in the ring were sold.
About fifteen Red Angus and red composites were also offered and sold.
Hard working fielmen
Could you give four thousand?
A very nice set of black yearling heifers was also offered. A bid out in the yards was for $1075 per head, so any bidders
ringside had to beat that bid.
94 head of these fine heifers averaged weighing 834 pounds, and they brought $1100 per head. It is nice to see the optimism
in the cattle business at this time.
After the cattle had been run through, 20 head of ranch geldings were sold through the ring.
