Kola, just when you hope you can see some light at the end of the tunnel, the express train hits you!
Roy Bennet has been persecuted so persistantly due to his popularity amongst the local Shona people (Mugabes' tribe) his family have had close ties with the local people for generations, and speak the language fluently, and observe their traditions etc, which disturbs the Shona politicians (Roy has consistantly been voted for with a landslide in every election)
We still have to play the wait and see game for some time to come it would seem.

Andybob it seems the express train is the one thing that works good in Zim. Too bad it doesn't use the rails. I worked with an ex farmer from then Rhodesia in the outback of Australia in the early 80s. Boy could he navigate in the bush. Never worried about getting lost when he was with us. Stan Parson's the other day wrote that Zim has arguably the worst government in the world with the only possible exception of North Korea. What a shame.
