What level of arsenic in cattle water is considered bad? What minerals does arsenic bind with and may need higher supplementaion rates? The well tested out at 35 ppm for arsenic.

From Wiki and related to human consumption:

There are also many locations in the United States where the groundwater contains arsenic concentrations in excess of the Environmental Protection Agency standard of 10 parts per billion adopted in 2001.

That's parts per BILLION.

I don't remember the numbers- but one of our wells is fairly high in arsenic too...We use reverse osmosis to remove it for drinking- but do water cows out of it 5-6 months a year....The "experts" told us that with only that amount of time usage it would have no effect on the cows...

The old timers that had that place before us drank it year around and lived well into their 80's...Only problem I had drinking it was all the salts in it acted just like prune juice til you got used to it...
