Per hundred pounds. I assume I'm answering correct. To my knowledge it's not traded on the CME but boxed beef is quoted frequently when addressing price of live cattle by market annalist. Select boxed beef hit an all time high last week at 196.00 I think.

As in all things it depends on the box. For years the standard pack for subprimals was 6 each. In other words 6 top butts with an avg weight of 12lbs or greater , or 12;bs or less.

Ribeyes and strips are packed the same and top rounds are usually packed 3 in a box and avg 21 to 22lbs.
