Philip J. Berg Will Be Arriving U.S. Supreme Court, Washington, DC at 3:15 p.m. today to file for an Injunction to Stay Presidential Election Pending Writ of Certiorari regarding Obama who is "NOT" qualified to be President of the United States

(Press Release - 10/30/08 - Contact information and pdf of press release at bottom)

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/30/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that he will
be at the United States Supreme Court today, October 30, 2008 to file:

Application to Justice Souter for an Immediate Injunction to Stay the Presidential Election of November 4, 2008; and
Writ of Certiorari.
Berg stated, “I am hopeful that the U.S. Supreme Court will grant the Injunction pending a review of this case to avoid a Constitutional Crisis by insisting that Obama produce certified documentation that he is or is not a “natural born” citizen and if he cannot produce documentation that Obama be removed from the ballot for President.

Media outlets will be there. My question is: Why would Obama take the risk?

Produce the documents and claim a right wing conspiracy! It would most definitely get him some extra fence-straddling voters.

He has- and folks like you still want to make a big deal of it..
The Rove tactic- when you don't have a message produce doubt thru lies, innuendo, fearmongering, and attack ads.....It worked for Bush- and against McCain before- but folks are getting educated and aren't buying it this time.....
Problem is- its going to probably drag some good Repub Congressmen down with him......I see where Norm Coleman is only hanging on by the skin of his teeth....

The votemaster site sums it up quite well today:
Obama Runs Informercial on Seven Networks Yesterday
Barack Obama's 30-minute "infomercial" ran last night simultaneously on seven broadcast and cable networks, including the nation's largest Spanish-language network, Univision. It was a montage of scenes shot all over America (especially in swing states), flawlessly edited with slow cross dissolves, cutaways and dips to black and with emotional music playing in the background the whole time. While Obama repeated a number of his oft-stated policy positions, such as a middle-class tax cut and affordable health care, the effect was more the look-and-feel than the content. Obama was shown talking to wildly cheering crowds and individuals, constantly emphasizing how he will help the middle class. There were scenes with Obama addressing the nation from a mockup of the oval office as well as several segments in which ordinary people tell about their problems. In one of them, a 72-year-old man tells how he had to go back to work to be able to pay for his wife's medicines. In another, a single mother tells how she gets up before sunrise every day to work two jobs in order to feed her kids. Washington Post columnist Tom Shales compared Obama to Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath, only potentially with a happier ending. All in all, it is hard to imagine anyone watching it and thinking "this guy is a newbie not ready for prime time."

What is noteworthy about this campaign is McCain's response. He just attacked Obama more, saying he is not ready to be commander in chief and his economic policies would undermine our national security. He is also making robocalls--in Arizona (!)--a state that wasn't thought to be competitive. What is so astounding about this strategy is that most Republicans worship Ronald Reagan, not so much due to his specific policies, but for the tone of his campaigns and administration. He was always talking about hope and "Morning in America," rarely attacking his opponents. McCain could easily have countered Obama's film with an upbeat message saying: "I also believe in a good future for America, but a future produced by hardworking Americans like Joe the Plumber, not by government bureaucrats." He didn't do it. Just attack, attack, attack. You can see Atwater-Rove-Schmidt writ large on McCain's whole campaign. Spend all your time tearing down your opponent, rather than saying what your plans are. The weird part of this is that before 2008, McCain was not an attack kind of guy. His most noteworthy bills in the Senate are the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill (which passed) and the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill (which didn't). And Russ Feingold and Ted Kennedy aren't just any old Democrats. Feingold is tied for being the most liberal member of the Senate and Kennedy has been a champion of progressive causes for decades. So McCain has a long history of being practical senator working with the other guys to get things done. Nary a word about his many accomplishments. Just attack, attack, attack. Historically, when one candidate offers hope and one offers fear, hope wins.

PLENTY TO HIDE

It is truly seeming that way. Votes are being cast absentee now. If it was to cause someone not to vote for him, he would be better off coming clean about it if he is elligible.

To Who :???: He's already showed it to the fact sites- and he's already posted a certified copy- and as the courts have said- no one else has "standing" to ask to see it or question it besides Congress and the electors of the Electoral college....

Why hasn't McCain or Congress (both who have standing) asked or subpeonaed to see the original if they think there is a problem :???:

Look who runs fact check that is like you or fff looking it over. If the thing was blank or out of a monopoly game you would certify it as genuine plain and simple. There are only two types of people voting for him and they all would lie for him plain and simple thats the colored folks and the halfwits. In my opinion neither group has values or scrupples. I can say that because your character shows in who you associate with and who you support.

Let's see, The question was why hasn't McCain who has standing asked to see the original. Wouldn't you if you were in McCain's shoes,if you thought something was amiss? Your answer?

This is the kind of hit and run baloney politics you have to resort to when you dont have the money to do an infomercial I guess.
