I started to put this on a different board, but I was afraid it might get political.

FFL holders would probably really appreciate one of these:

I guess I can be sure that it gets political.

The hitlery shirts on that site are pretty good, too:

Here's a good example:

Are you saying that ain't how all good down home Arkansas folk look :???: Too many teeth-eh
Young hitlery IS kinda homely looking in that picture, isn't she? I'm familiar with the hillbilly gal stereotype, but I don't guess I know how Arkansas girls are really supposed to look.

I saw a picture of RR's wife one time and if Arkansas girls are all supposed to be homely, he must have got her from somewhere else. She could have come straight out of a beauty contest.

Except...we know instead of a beauty contest, she must have come out of some kind of mental institution - to be married to him.

My wife is very beautiful to me. Having said that beauty only goes so far. She has proven to be a good decision maker when she married me. Her birth certificate says she was born in the great state of Texas. By the time she was 6mos old though someone had sense enough to get her out of there. All kidding aside I like Texas but I havn't seen very much of it. Might take a trip down there next year .

I don't know why I forgot about it earlier. But MY wife was born in Arkansas. She was a river bottom girl, though - not one of the mountain girls. And she didn't stay there long.

Anyway, I don't really consider mine a homely, skanky skag. Not really, anyway. Even though I know I could have done a LOT better. 8)

 Somehow I would imagine not. The fact that you actually got married seems to be an impressively impossible event.

Survey of 800 Likely Voters
October 8-9, 2007

Hillary Clinton (D) 48%
Rudy Giuliani (R) 41%

Hillary Clinton (D) 52%
Fred Thompson (R) 37%

Friday, October 12, 2007

Riding a crest in her political appeal, Senator Hillary Clinton now leads former New York Mayor Rudi Giuliani 48% to 41%. She also claims a stunning double-digit lead of 52% to 37% over former Senator Fred Thompson. Two weeks ago, Clinton led Giuliani by five and Thompson by eight.

These results come at a time when 54% of Likely Voters express a favorable opinion of Clinton. That’s the highest level yet recorded for the former First Lady. For most of the year, the number with a favorable or unfavorable opinion of her has been essentially even (see history).

While opinions of Clinton have been improving, just 49% now offer a positive assessment of Rudy Giuliani. That marks the fourth straight week below 50% for the man who began the year as the most popular candidate in either party. At one point early in the season, Giuliani’s favorable ratings topped 70%.

Thompson has also been sliding lately. He is now viewed favorably by just 39% of voters after being above the 40% level for August and September. The man from Tennessee has also given up the lead in the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll. While his standing has declined steadily over the past few weeks, it's too early to say whether we're witnessing the predicted Fred Fizzle or just a fading of his post-announcement bounce.

You're just full of good news tonight, aren't you, OT? :(

What's really disturbing to me about her having numbers that high is the fact that we probably already know everything bad there is to know about her.

If she's already getting that kind of support, with people already knowing exactly what she is, I don't see anything that can happen to take it away from her...

I think your right- I now think she is pretty much unstoppable...Even when another scandal, stink, or whatever comes out- her pro numbers in the polls go up and her anti numbers drop

Republicans are split all over the place-- several articles I read said that the Repubs in D.C. think of one word when they think of Fred- dumb...And Rudi is Republican in name only- and is not drawing the conservatives in...

But I think the major thing putting Hillary in office is shown in the below poll-- folks are just tired of GW- and GW isn't helping any by changing to a more populist policy or following the wishes of the voters on many of the issues...

Both parties are losing members-- and Independents are increasing...More and more don't want to be associated with either party...

Thirty-six percent (36%) of Americans approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. Sixty-two percent (62%) disapprove. Those figures include 15% who Strongly Approve and 41% who Strongly Disapprove.

I am just surprised she married a man to her left. Seems she would have went for a more conservative one like herself

I just don't trust poll numbers. Seems every poll I have seen tends to have more Dem's asked than Republicans. Even on exit polls they can not get it right.

People tend to vote for front runners, so the more the media can make Hillary the next president the more likely it is to happen.

Polls are so easy to tilt, say here in Kansas all you have to do is make more phone calls say to Kansas City than to Southeast Kansas. Cities will be more liberal and rural areas more conservative. Same goes for counties and general areas of Cities and states.

I have no doubt I could do a poll that would have Hillary as next president and then turn around and do another one that would have her loosing to Rudy.

Only Poll I believe is the one about Congress approval rating, but I do wonder how bad it really was if after bias media tweaked it it still came out that low.

I will hold to my prediction, Hillary nor Obama will be president! Hillary will loose in a landslide decision!

Even if the polls are correct, people respond a lot different when face to face with a person doing a poll. They are more political correct, but when push comes to shove and the curtain is closed Americans will not elect Hillary Clinton!

I sense a state of Denial here-- according to the emotional stages you now need to work yourself thru Anger- Bargaining- Depression- and you will have inner peace when you move to Acceptance......

I think Fred is done-- that leaves Rudi-- and Rudi is not going over well...Besides not being a Republican, he is not well liked by the women...
My wife was telling me that her whole department at the Hospital was talking of voting Hillary because they hate Rudi so bad-- except like she said they all had a slow day and just happened to all be watching TV the day he and his newest girlfriend were on TV announcing he was divorcing his wife in one press conference- while his wife across town was crying into the mikes at another press conference...

Women don't forget that kind of stuff!!! And love her or hate her--Hillary did stand by her man- and a lot of women can relate to that...

Time will tell, but I don't think I will be eating my words. Hillary is the hot topic at the moment, but when push comes to shove she will loose by a large margin to any republican candidate! That is my prediction and I am sticking to it, and praying I am correct!

If Hillary did win I think I will just bury my head in the sand for 4 years and take a Hiatus from the news and political message boards.

Maybe even move to Canada to aggravate nonothing and Mrs Greg.

I can not think of anything more depressing than her as President, well maybe Pelosi as President would be worse.

Hillary with a democratic controlled congress could force me to go back on Prozac, I wonder if my prescription from 8 years ago is still good?
