No we should not,as they bring factual information to the board................polls are simply a way of letting some folks express their opinion without going into detail.................good luck

Looks like an NCBA type of election.
And looks like the R-CALF side wants a Florida 2000 type of election. Do it all over again because some of their side might have checked the wrong box.

Don't you mean like R-CALF changing presidents three weeks after their convention? Or maybe like R-CALF not allowing amendments to go out in the mail-out ballots to all members?
Have you R-CALF members got your ballots from the convention yet?

Rcalf or any other organization (including the Baptists and Mormans) can elect new leaders any time their organization allows them to.

Do you read tea leaves too?

I take it you never got your ballots yet.

And you care because....?

Because your important to me.

Didn't get your ballots yet did ya? I thought R-CALF was superior to all other cattle organizations because they used the mail outs.

We're superior to all other cattle organizations because we actually represent who we say we do, US producers.

All 300?

Why can't you answer my question. I was civil when I asked it and unless your ballot got thrown in with the junk mail you shouldn't even had to do any research to answer me.

I'll get a ballot, I'm not worried. Why are you? Is there some statute of limitations on these ballots that I don't know about? Do they rot after a certain time? Is there a date that they have to be in by?

Guys, I for one, do not care how R-CALF picks their leaders or sets their policy.

I do think it less than amusing that some R-CALF cheerleaders have condemned NCBA for the way we choose our leaders and set policy when they also have, at best, implied that the Joe Cattleproducer member of NCBA does not have a say in such choices.

Apparently, R-CALF members may elect directors and the directors pick the officers, and may change whenever they so choose.

FACT: NCBA officer candidates go through a rigorous nominating committee examination before being presented to the MEMBERS for election. MEMBERS can also nominate candidates from the floor at the election.

R-CALF cheerleaders on this site have called NCBA a staff driven organization.

It surely appears that Bill Bullard, (a very well paid staff member, BTW) and possibly the more extreme faction of the group is running the R-CALF show now.

And, where are the calls for "transparency" in all this turmoil in 'paradise'?
