It's the start of August and we're still waiting for summer.

Cooler than normal temperatures have been plaguing the province.

Regina saw the 3rd coldest July in 100 years.

Saskatoon borke a record low dating back to 1917.

It went down to 3.9 degrees.

Environment Canada's Dave Phillips says it's all due to very active weather.

"This is what happens when warm air clashes with cold air, you get this wild weather. Of course, all this weather heralded a cold front coming down through Alberta into Saskatchewan and you see temperatures that are 9 or 11 degrees cooler than normal.

Phillips does say though that warmer temperatures are expected in the next few days.

But But But what happen to Global WARMING. :?
